Night Stops - Rochester. The day's ride aims to arrive in Rochester for about 4:30pm. We cross the Medway and then finish in the centre of the old town by Rochester Castle. We'll load the bikes into our storage van here, and riders will go by bus to our hotel, so avoiding the two mile long uphill ride! We're all booked into the Rochester Holiday Inn, a high quality four star property which has a pool and beauty salon. Our massage and aromatherapy area will be set up from your arrival until 7:00pm.

Night Stops - Bruges. We leave Nieuwpoort at 1000 for a relaxing ride across the flat but interesting landscape towards Bruges, assembling outside the city at 1300 for a police-escorted ride as a peleton into the city centre. Our ride terminates in the Markt, right in the centre of the town and in front of the famous Belfry Tower. There's time for photos before you head on to your hotel and hand over your bike for a well-earned rest. The following morning there are a number of different options.

Night Stops - Canterbury. We plan to arrive in Canterbury by 4:00pm. Our overnight stop is at Keynes College in the University of Canterbury, who have kindly made a student Hall Of Residence available to us, with single ensuite rooms. Again, massage and aromatherapy treatment will be available from your arrival. We're hoping to be able to offer an evening function in the centre of Canterbury, so may have an early 5:30pm dinner followed by transport into town.

Our target average speed is 15mph / 25kph. On level sections you'll find that you can easily achieve more than this, but you'll slow to 5 mph on some hilly sections. We've planned a ladies-only ride that moves at an average of only 8 miles an hour, which is a speed that novice cyclists, on any type of bike, can handle with ease. This is no mad dash - its a gentle amble with no more than six hours of cycling every day. Raise 1700 for STUBS and take part for free.
