Wednesday, 20 February 2013. My "go to" Shoulder Workout. Today I thought I would share with you my "go to" shoulder workout. I love working my shoulders because, well, come on - I AM Australian and I love wearing tank tops/sleeveless t shirts and bikini tops. 10mins on cross trainer to warm up. Seated Barbell Shoulder Press. 1 warm up set at light weight - 10kg. 3 regular sets with a slightly more challenging weight - 15kg. 1 harder set to failure - 17.5kg. 3 sets of 12-15 reps with a medium weight - 7kg.

Tuesday, 30 April 2013. Still ignoring the head cold. That is pretty much going to be the story of my life this week though. Michelle is away and I really feel the need to catch up on my sleep and somewhat, recover, from last week’s epic catch up activities. Paws thinks that is a good idea. Do you agree? I am trying really hard to win the love of my body back! 20mins cardio on treadmill (with my running shoes). 1min walking 6.5, 1min running at 8, 10, 12 and 13. 10 burpees to start off. Monday, May 13, 2013. Race Report: Cox Rhode Race 1/2 Marathon. This was my 15th 1/2 marathon, and I think I've finally figured out how to actually run a race of this length. Yeah, I guess I'm a bit slow (runningwise and mentally). This was (sorry to shout) THE BEST RACE EVER! I slowed myself down, took nutrition and water regularly, and got a PR with little-to-no pain! Honestly, around Mile 11 I couldn't help thinking, this race is going really fast, but I don't want to stop running, I feel fantastic.

Monday, May 13, 2013. Race Report: Cox Rhode Race 1/2 Marathon. This was my 15th 1/2 marathon, and I think I've finally figured out how to actually run a race of this length.
