Small Quilts and Doll Quilts: March 2015
http://smallquiltsanddollquilts.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Small Quilts and Doll Quilts. Monday, March 30, 2015. My Day Lily Quilt is Finished! This quilt was one of the first quilts I started, and has been a quilt top for a long time. First I was going to hand quilt it, then I was going to machine quilt it, and this year I sent it out to be quilted, and I am very happy with the results. My friend Joyce Brenner quilted it. But enough fussing about other things! On to the pictures! This is the basic block, and I'm not sure what the flower is - I call it a Day Lily.

Small Quilts and Doll Quilts. Tuesday, February 24, 2015. Small Wall Quilt for the New House. I am recovering from pneumonia, and am feeling much better. The snow is so beautiful here, but since I'm sick, I only take pictures of it from the car, and otherwise I stay inside. Here's a picture I took Sunday of the woods:. Doesn't it look like someone had a snowball fight and hit all the trees with snowballs? Are any of you going to the Mid-Atlantic Quilt Show in Newport News, Virginia this week? I've lived ...

That was in the house.was a fat caterpillar, happily munching away in the bouquet! I hope to see more caterpillars soon. If you are curious, here are three projects that are in the...

Small Quilts and Doll Quilts: July 2015
http://smallquiltsanddollquilts.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Small Quilts and Doll Quilts. Tuesday, July 7, 2015. 4th of July at the Lake. This year's patriotic quilt was going to be a little bigger, but I had trouble with the borders and just stopped on it, and finished it without making the final white border as I had originally planned. Sometimes things just don't work out, and I move on. Finished is definitely better than a border that doesn't want to cooperate with me. Right? Here is the quilt:. The finished size is 20" by 24". Teenage boys (and my son who is...

Notes from Wisconsin: 18th Bday
http://notesfromwisconsin.blogspot.com/2009/02/18th-bday.html
Tuesday, February 10, 2009. Today is also a big day in our home for another reason. Sid, the cat, is 18 years old! In cat years,(according to catage.com), he is 69.7 years old. Sid had a great bday and had a treat, lots of napping, and lots of playing too. He acts like a little kitten sometimes and other times he looks old. The Vet said that they could not believe how old he is due to the fact he is so fit. Happy Birthday, Sid! February 10, 2009 at 11:11 PM. Happy Birthday to Sid! Smiley of the Moment.
