anne girl: November 2009
http://annecv.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 6, 2009. Five things I can't seem to add to my baby registry. Seriously, people. Scoff ye not at legally administered narcotics. It's what made Aidan's birth go from agonizing, rip-roarin' pain to blissfully blissed-out blissdom. 2 A celebrity trainer. So that after I give birth, I can whip myself into gorgeous Hollywood shape and sculpt my impossibly long, million-dollar-insured legs into works of art, just in time to make the premiere of my action movie starring Hugh Jackman. Further p...

Jason Vermeulen: March 2012
http://jasonvermeulen.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Thoughts on life, ministry, and fatherhood. Friday, March 2, 2012. Just writing that title seems so surreal! From the meat market manager, to the county ditch-digger, to the professors, to the men with whom I've walked and talked around campfires and living rooms, to the hundreds of men, women, and children at the various churches where I've served- most significantly Grace. Jason Vermeulen: December 2010
http://jasonvermeulen.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Thoughts on life, ministry, and fatherhood. Tuesday, December 28, 2010. So I know Christmas is already fading in everyone's mind, but I've been listening to this song. Over the past few weeks. The musicality of it, the originality really struck me, and when that happens it often leads the listener to re-consider the lyrics. What struck me most was this verse:. And ye beneath life's crushing load,. Whose forms are bending low;. Who toil along the climbing way. With painful steps so slow:.

Jason Vermeulen: White Knuckles
http://jasonvermeulen.blogspot.com/2012/01/white-knuckles.html
Thoughts on life, ministry, and fatherhood. Sunday, January 1, 2012. There's going to be lots of people "white-knuckling" it over the next few days in weeks. Whatever bad habits we want to break, or good habits we want to begin, at the start of a new year we always "try harder" and ratchet up our willpower to make those choices that we hope will help us be better people. Don't misunderstand me. Bolstering our determination in order to do important things is obviously crucial for living. And doing...There...

http://annecv.blogspot.com/2013/01/friday-five-five-pinterest-things-that.html
Friday, January 11, 2013. Friday five: five Pinterest things that are cool. Still, I pin away. Here are five pins (out of the thousands I've repinned to my boards) that have actually made a positive impact in my life, no matter how small:. 1 Getting urine stains/smell. Out of a mattress. Yeah, I know. Did you have to start out with such a gross one? 2 The best birthday (or any celebratory) cake ever created. Many of you have gotten the chance to taste this wonderful recipe. Both the boys lurrrve their tr...
