I got up yesterday and headed out to CrossFit and on my way, I started thinking about the cost. They’re really strict on their payment (the owner isn’t as much, but he’s not there often) so I knew I’d either have to pay the drop in fee ($20) or buy the 10 class punch card ($140? Then I hit a detour that would have made me late anyway, so I skipped CrossFit.

From the north end of Waitsfield, starting at the General Wait House, the Path goes south to Mad River Green following the sidewalk through historic Waitsfield to the Green Cup, where it runs along the river and over an old earthen berm, which was used historically as a dam to power local mills and to collect river ice in winter. It continues along Route 100 and then crosses over to traverse around the Town. Pond (Be careful crossing Route 100 here!
