Monday, February 12, 2007. Today we buried Makenna's. Tiny casket at historic Mission San Luis Rey. Just the five of us gathered around Makenna's. Of roses and dozens of pink balloons. We prayed and wept and reminded each other of promises from God's Word. We thanked Makenna. For the glimpse of God she gave us during her brief visit here. We released some balloons in the cemetery.
