What an exciting day! Emma was so excited that she finally got to wear her rain gear and splash in actual puddles! Anna's First Day at Mother's Day Out! It's not a smile, b...

Griffin & his brothers: December 2011
http://griffinbsmith.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Griffin and his brothers. Thursday, December 1st. Mimi came over to bring the boys each a small early Christmas gift. This was the babies first experience with unwrapping presents. They are in a very "grabby" stage so they actually did pull at the paper some. Luckily, they had their big brother there to help them finish the job. Saturday, December 3rd. Saturday, December 10th. We made a much anticipated visit to Santa. Griffin sat on his lap first and quicky rattled off the list of cars from. Griffin per...

Julie's Common Sensibilities: May 2009
http://juliescommonsensibilities.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 10, 2009. Fearfully and wonderfully made. Last week at the church I've been visiting, the pastor mentioned Psalm 139:14 about praising God because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. This mention of the verse was not even a main point of his sermon, but I was so struck by it. God spoke to me and reminded me that I AM fearfully and wonderfully made. Move over insecurity and self doubt! Julie is fearfully and wonderfully made by the Most High God! Portions of Psalm 139 say:. My cousin Jen- she...

Julie's Common Sensibilities: December 2009
http://juliescommonsensibilities.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 31, 2009. Wow, it's hard to believe it's been 10 years since I began my professional career and my hopskotch all along the east coast. 2000- kicked off the new year with friends at a party in DC. I was just about to begin a job with Congressman Nathan Deal in DC after having moved over from Bob Barr's office. In the summer of 2000, he promoted me to Legislative Assistant. So, after 5 months, I returned to GA. 2009- Verizon promoted me in January and began to commute back and forth from...

Griffin & his brothers: June 2012
http://griffinbsmith.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Griffin and his brothers. We spent the week of June 16-23 at the beach in Isle of Palms, SC with Pop and Chaz, Bebe, Lacy and Max, Chaz's kids, Katie and Conner, and their two friends. It was a wonderful week- perfect weather, a great house with a pool, the beautiful beach, and family to share it with. I could go on and on if I wrote about all the things we did over the week, but I decided I'd just make a slideshow and fight the urge to tell every detail. So here it is. It's Fun to be Five! Then we gave ...

Emma & Anna: Anna's First Day at Mother's Day Out!
http://3nichols.blogspot.com/2011/09/annas-first-day-at-mothers-day-out.html
Tuesday, September 6, 2011. Anna's First Day at Mother's Day Out! Along with firsts today, it was Anna's first day of Mother's Day Out. And just like Emma, I was pleasantly surprised! She did not fuss or cry when we handed her over to her teacher and left! When I went to pick her up she was asleep, but the teacher said she had only been asleep for 10 minutes and that was all she had slept the whole day. I dropped her off at 9:00 and picked her up at 1:30! Oh how I love these girls! First Day of School!
