Mamohase offers a safe and comfortable stay in 4 Rondavels that will each sleep 4 persons. The Rondavels are all heated in winter. We offer traditional Basotho meals, which are made of organic fresh produce, and most of what you will eat is produced in our own garden. During the evening, while sitting around the fire, you can enjoy traditional cultural performances. Our place can be a good stopover for 4X4's to or from Sani. We offer the following activities:. For the more adventurous:. A full day hiking tour to the summit of the mountain Khatibe, the highest peak in the area. This is a full day hike, four hours up and three hours down. Pony-trekking. The Basotho ponies will take you far into the mountains and there is a choice between a short 2,5 hrs ride or a full day, 6 hrs ride . For the most adventures:.

This is an old family settlement in the Northern part of Lesotho. It is situated only 26 km from Butha Buthe on the A1, the road to Afri-ski and Sani Pass, just next to the little village of Ha Molapo. It offers spectacular views on the Northern Maluti Mountains and there are lots of mountain steams in the area and it is a fishers paradise.
