Youth People First

The Young People's Parliament is a place where people under 25 with a. Up about what is important to them. Due to budget cuts the Parliament closed, but we think their work was very important, so we have started a group for young people who have a learning disability. They meet at our office on Tuesdays from 2 to 3:30pm. If you are under 25 you are welcome to come to the meetings.

Manchester People First started in 1992 and has over 500 members. We are open to learning disabled adults who live in Manchester. To join, download a membership form click here. We are run by learning disabled adults and are independent of services. We give training, and support to learning disabled adults and professionals. And campaign for disabled people's rights.
