We showed up right as the museum was about to open. There were lots of cool things to see an play with. We found this guy. Col. Paul Henderson. Who was apparently an aviation pioneer. We'll have to figure out if we're related. My favorite was probably the big model aircraft carrier. It was almost 10 feet long. Fun Stuff on The Web.

We started the morning. . . and finished the morning. . .by standing in line at the National Archives. . in the rain. With nearly 1 1/2 hours, you have lots of time to look at building details. The kids liked this detail the best. . . what do you see? So we decided to each lunch in the cafeteria below. We got to see some Monet.

Ok, So This One Time. . .K Bye. Tuesday, June 30, 2009. I Love Synth Pop . . . Especially From The Experts. Every once and a while I dig around for some good new synth pop and find some artists that are really good at making their machines make some great ear candy, but pretty much all of them fail when it comes to lyrics and a good tune that you can enjoy even when the music turns off. Hats off to the Pet Shop Boys, this may be my favorite album after Behaviour. 04 Did you See Me Coming? 09 Pandemonium ...

Ok, So This One Time. . .K Bye. Sunday, October 18, 2009. Fun Times in California. We enjoyed our vacation to California to see my grandparents. Who knew that road construction in the middle of Nevada could be so fun. The following video shows how funny the little bumps on the side of the road are. . . you know. . . the ones that are supposed to keep you awake. Tuesday was really stormy and rainy. They had lots of toy train displays along with the full-size trains. It is amazing how decked-out some o...
