Ever since I bought a limited edition Liza Minelli inspired MAC makeup palette (circa 2003), I have adored cabaret. Perhaps it's the idea of wearing fishnets and false lashes in the debauched nightclubs of 1930's Berlin with my face made up like Liza (young Liza that is! However, I was pleased as punch to have finally found a decent cabaret show in London at Cafe De Paris.

May 2, 2011. Easter, at last. Is it too late to post easter pics? We spent easter weekend in seattle with the money's. saturday was beautiful, and it would have been a lovely drive, except that asa was not in the mood to be strapped in a car seat. i spent the better half of three hours singing at the top of my lungs. I didn't realize that the exhausting part of being a parent would be three hours of itsty bitsy spider. just sayin' - no one really tells you that. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

September 28, 2010. Whew, it has been a busy week! It's new student orientation at the design school mr. money and i work at.i'm tired! This is the week that fall really announces itself to me. (all those new students with their eager little faces! So, hello fall, nice to see you. We had a great weekend, even though it seems like ages ago now. we headed out to the polish festival early saturday and stayed late through the afternoon. I had no idea the polish fest would be so fun! It's my new favorite.

April 21, 2011. Well, well, well. hello intranet. Is it mid april already? I took an unexpected break there - i guess i needed it. We've been in a whirlwind of constant rain, ear infections, day care drama, root canals and a never ending to-do list. Still, in the midst of it all, we've managed to explore finger painting, play dough and digging in the dirt! It's been nice to turn off the computer and just be. The sun is starting to shine (literally, it's actually sunny in portland! And life is good.
