MichelleYeo-Inspired by quilts of the past: Louisa - Corrupting the innocent!
http://michelleyeo-inspiredbyquiltsofthepast.blogspot.com/2011/04/louisa-corrupting-innocent.html
MichelleYeo-Inspired by quilts of the past. Friday, April 22, 2011. Louisa - Corrupting the innocent! Yesterday, Kirstie ran out of Harry Potter books to read and will have to wait until we return home to start book 5. The boys were out fishing and it was just Kirstie and me home so she decided to venture into Louisa and hopefully a love of patchwork that will continue for years to come. Then the moment of truth! Do we knot the thread to begin with or not? Mid afternoon, block 1 of Louisa was finished.

MichelleYeo-Inspired by quilts of the past. Friday, March 20, 2015. Long time, no blog and no really good excuse! So much has happened since I last wrote. Margo topped off my stay in the US by asking me to design and make a quilt using her new, upcoming fabric range, 'Dargate Treasury' by Andover. Of course I couldn't say no to that request! Enjoy and I hope you like it! April 7, 2015 at 4:06 AM. Gorgeous Michelle. Ill look forward to seeing the fabric when it comes out. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

MichelleYeo-Inspired by quilts of the past: Welcome!
http://michelleyeo-inspiredbyquiltsofthepast.blogspot.com/2011/04/welcome.html
MichelleYeo-Inspired by quilts of the past. Wednesday, April 20, 2011. Hello and welcome to my Blog which has been long in the contemplating despite heaps of encouragement from my sewing friends, in particular Barb and Noleen. Thanks girls for your persistence! My youngest daughter, Kirstie, who is 12, has been asking if she can make a Louisa. If you’re ever in the area, Mandeni is well worth a visit, just be careful of the kangaroos hopping across the road on the way in and out! May 10, 2011 at 6:16 PM.

MichelleYeo-Inspired by quilts of the past: Gatton in May
http://michelleyeo-inspiredbyquiltsofthepast.blogspot.com/2011/06/gatton-in-may.html
MichelleYeo-Inspired by quilts of the past. Sunday, June 5, 2011. I'm sure the people in this area would still welcome any assistance from outside. Sew Creative in Gatton has donated a large number of quilts to people and more would certainly not go astray. I can't imagine what it must be like to not have a needle and thread to sew on a stray button, not to mention any quilting supplies at all. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Projects on the go. Applique, Patchwork and fabric. Touchdown in San Antonio. Asymp; 3 Comments. Margaret and I landed in San Antonio on Monday evening after an eventful trip. Melbourne to Sydney was the first leg of the journey and the highlight of that was a dinner celebrating the first stage of our trip. Margaret relaxing with a Chardi. And our yummy dinner at our favourite Sydney restaurant in China Town. And we enjoyed every bit. Joan, Darwin and Sherry. It’s nearly 1.00am now so I best be...Well it...

Projects on the go. Applique, Patchwork and fabric. I’ve been making quilts since 1994 but I often finish the tops and then put them away and forget about them. So here is where I’m going to post up images of my completed quilts as I get around to it. Here is the first of my quilts that I’ve actually gotten around to photographing and uploading. Flowers in a field of Plaid. Flowers in a field of Plaid'. Teardrop Medallion' centre, using my precious RJR Smithsonian fabrics. An applique medallion quilt.

Projects on the go. Applique, Patchwork and fabric. A retreat of my own. Asymp; Leave a comment. So while both of them are having lovely eats, going out wining and dining, I decided so would I. Here’s my dinner, leftover garlic pizza. Not the same really is it? Actually I’ve really enjoyed being at home by myself. I very rarely get the chance to be in the house by myself and never in the evenings, so lovely and peaceful. Anyway I’m busy trying to finish this quilt. A close-up, sorry about the blurry photo.

MichelleYeo-Inspired by quilts of the past: Vanity Fair Borders
http://michelleyeo-inspiredbyquiltsofthepast.blogspot.com/2011/06/vanity-fair-borders.html
MichelleYeo-Inspired by quilts of the past. Thursday, June 30, 2011. July 21, 2011 at 8:00 AM. So glad you now have a blog! I just dont know how you fit it all in though, amazing. I hope your tennis elbow is on the mend, it is very painful. I am hyperventilating about the Vanity Fair quilt, it looks beautiful. Is there a picture of the original inspiration in a book somewhere?
