Here, from a cookbook from the Olden Days:. 1 liter milk (don’t go for the skimmed stuff please). Almost 1 dl. rice or you can also use semolina if you ask me…. 1 small pinch of saffron. 1 inch vanilla pod. 1 small pinch cardamom (or you can take whole cardamom pods if you like the taste of it).
