McChord Pipeline Co. has implemented an Integrity Management Program to ensure safe pipeline operation in accordance with Federal Regulations. Two internal inspection tools (also known as smart pigs) were used to inspect the pipeline in 2009. Based on the results, the pipeline can operate safely until the next internal inspection in 5 years.
