January 11, 2017. This month I am hoping to keep my goals mostly simple. Perhaps even a little selfish. However, I won’t feel bad for doing so. I am focusing more on myself this year and learning to put myself first. Often I forget that I need to take care of myself before I can take care of others. Invest in new nail polish colors. Participate in two random acts of kindness. Cut out junk food, soda, and sweets. Practice more mindfulness and yoga. Treat myself to a spa night. Oh I love those goals!

You never know what kind of day someone is having. Not to mention, giving a small gesture can also make you feel better. Small acts of kindness you can do today:. Wednesday, August 5, 2015. Who wants to go on vacation? I do - still do, always do - so I thought I'd get my fix from the new Vacation movie with Ed Helms (as a grown up Rusty Griswold) and Christina Applegate. If you are needing a laugh, you must see this movie or at least add it to your Netflix list. I love National Lampoon and it was a great spin-off. What makes it even more memorable to me is I have been to a lot of the places they stop at so it was memory city for me. Any movies on your list to see?

Tuesday, June 30, 2015. A Day at Grant's Farm. One of my favorite parts of summer is being able to go over and relax at Grant's Farm. That is one of the highlights of living in the area of STL we do as its practically in our backyard. Its also an STL staple so if you're ever in the area, it needs to be on your must do list! Keith is off on Fridays and we were asked to babysit my niece so after the morning rain we made it there and it was a fun time as always:. It was a great day - can't wait to go back!
