W09 Simulation and Modeling. Today’s presentation was on “Simulation and Modeling” and there was no group to present today. However Des showed us what simulation a modelling was all about. Modelling is an interactive or non interactive representation of a particular object or idea. A model is generally produced in a smaller scale than the original object. Today’s presentation was on “Digital Documents” and the group developed a design situation (creating a poster) that allowed them to teach us skills in photo editing (using Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Word) and creating pdf documents. The group also taught us how to save the photoshop document as an image and also convert a word document into a pdf document.
