The Yachties We Met. Saturday, 30 May 2015. Maintenance for the Med. Well it's nearly the end of May and things are coming together. Took the boat out at Port Solent and had the engine fully serviced. At same time had the sail drive hull seal changed as overdue (they say 7 years in the book). Then mate John helped me clean and paint the hull. Pauline came along and polished the hull. Also cleaned up and greased the propeller. First Coat of Antifoul Paint. Second Coat Antifoulling Paint. West of the Solent.

The Yachties We Met. Monday, 1 October 2012. October 2012 to Easter 2013. We left Scallywag in the water with the intention of trying to get some sailing in during the winter season, especially as we were staying home at Christmas. No luck, we had some time aboard but no sailing. Either we were away or storms were visiting. So, at Easter she came out to have her bottom cleaned and even then it was freezing. First coat of anti-fouling (red) folloed by second coat (blue). And so she looked smart.

The 3 Musketeers joined by retired Henley Management College Corporate Trainer and Hill Head Sailing Club colleague the right honourable Mr Jonathan Davies. We spent the first day on a good sail to Yarmouth. The video starts with us leaving Yarmouth to get through Hurst Point before the tide turns on a trip to Poole. It finishes with the trip back, when we went through a storm, as we came back into the Solent. Jonathan in silent prayer!
