Saturday, 27 April 2013. Lately Ive been trying to push myself out of my comfort zone, it is good to get out there and try new things, and brunch is no exception. So when choosing a Sunday brunch location, I decided a little road trip was in order. Lucky for Dan and I, it was a perfect day for a drive along Beach Road to Balmains Cafe. Located on Were St in Brighton, Balmains has a delightful mixture of old world charm and modern touches. Wednesday, 10 April 2013. Le Miel et la lune. Station St Trading Co.

raD fooD: Moulin Noir
http://rad-food.blogspot.com/2013/07/moulin-noir.html
Thursday, 4 July 2013. I've been to Moulin Noir four times now and each visit was totally different. I've eaten brunch, lunch, dinner and crepes. I have to admit, the brunch was good, lunch was ok, dinner was nice, but it is the crepes that have won me over. Being good little food bloggers, Dan and I ordered one sweet and one savoury crepe, just to make sure we could get a well rounded opinion. The crepes were thin, the vanilla ice cream was scrumptious, and I was a happy little camper. Its really nice t...

Thursday, October 9, 2008. I've had a hankering for ribs (i'm not sure if hankering is actually a word, but i like it), but haven't found any in melbourne. Does anyone know of a good restaurant for ribs? It seems that they are everywhere in sydney (last time i was in sydney i saw them available at each mealtime, each time in different restaurants). This is a mash-up of two recipes, because i loved the marinade from one recipe, but i liked the idea of braising the ribs first. Update: these ended up great!

Thursday, 16 August 2012. PM24 is tucked away on Russell St and as you walk by it is easy to spot the impeccably dressed wait staff go about their work. Once inside, we were greeted by attentive staff and a warm, even comforting ambience. Just perfect on a cold winter night. Sunday, 12 August 2012. Where do I start? Put briefly, Victoria and I fell in love with this old town. Full of students and old timers, Salamanca has a polar mix of people and a vast array of dining options. Lunch in Plaza Major.

Thursday, 28 June 2012. Having visited Pireaus Blues once back at uni, I thought it would be interesting to head back there again. Id been craving Greek food and thought that it might hit the spot. Near the corner of Johnston Street and Brunswick Street in Fitzroy, Pireaus Blues has some stiff competition nearby, but the restaurant was far from empty and we found a table for two near the fireplace. Yes But sometimes cravings have their way. Friday, 22 June 2012. Tourists' day out in Melbourne. I wanted t...

A Melbourne hedonist's adventures in dining, drinking and life. Monday, 14 May 2012. MFWF Express Lunches: Taxi and Grossi. During MFAWF I roped a few of my colleagues into express lunches ($35) at Taxi Dinging Room and Grossi Florentino.
