Tuesday, February 12, 2013. The Start of Many Africa Adventures. Such a God moment! We arrived in Atlanta and got to meet the rest of our team. It was so surreal getting to finally meet everyone on the team because up till now I have only seen pictures of them and heard their voices on the conference calls. I loved getting to have conversations with them and getting to know some more. When we finally arrived in Uganda it felt so good to be back! And so starts the many adventures in Africa!

Reading through my journal from our days at Ekabo I came across a verse I read one morning and wrote it down along with a insert that came from my daily devotion. So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith-that you, being rooted and grounded in love." Ephesians 3:17. (Good morning, Lord! With one of the little girls I sat with at church. Such a fun lovable little girl. The little girl who gave me her corn. Love these two sisters! Be In the Moment.

Monday, June 11, 2012. Well I am excited to announce that I am going back to Africa with Visiting Orphans in December! I will be going back to Uganda and then going to Kenya as well! I look forward to seeing what God has done in the lives of the ones I meet last year in Uganda and meet new people in Kenya. God has truly given me a heart to love on orphans and his children! Please pray for my team and the trip this coming December and January. Some beautiful faces of the people and children of Korah.

Saturday, October 27, 2012. This past summer I have played many roles so I decided to make a list of the roles I've played. A fill in "mom" for a week or weekend. Taking kids to and from school. A driver of a car with 5 car seats (and I don't have kids). A new fear of bats! They have gotten in our house several times. A baby holder :). A grocery shopper for a new mom. A children's church teacher. And now for my newest role/job. A preschool teacher to 3 year olds! I am still nannying for both families!

Monday, June 11, 2012. I am going to try to get Ethiopia all in one blog post so hear we go. ;). In Ethiopia we worked with a few ministries; Project 61, an orphanage, an Transition Home, and visited the Fistula Hospital. Another place we went was a transition home where children go who are in the process of being adopted and waiting for their parents to get to come bring them home. We played with the children and painted a mural in their playground. A trip in the mountains to a Greek Orthodox Church.

Wednesday, September 28, 2011. Here is a video my friend Brittany help me put together of pictures from my trip to Africa. It was 16 min. but for some reason it said my limit was 15 min so I had to cut a min out to get it on here for you. Monday, September 26, 2011. I am so excited that I am able to help her get food and go to school. I am so thankful God gave me that opportunity! I will be sending Dina the picture of the 2 of us so she has the memory as well.
