The other day he started putting his feet up onto the potty and jumping off. Tuesday, August 04, 2009. After they got bored of coloring on the street with chalk, the kids decided to decorate the tree. Sunday, August 23, 2009. The Great Train Ride. Right about the time I realized that Lex starts school in August I also realized that summer is coming to an end and I'd better figure out this train thing! So I bought tickets online (not realizing that you can buy them on the train! And wrote it on the calendar. All week the kids grew more and more excited for Friday and the great train ride. At one point Eve said "I see a horse! Off to school this week. Lex read the sign to Eve as we waited for the train.

Monday, August 03, 2009. Hey, didja notice, it's August! Whoa, when did that happen? We went blueberry picking this weekend. The kids LOVED it! The field was wet and muddy but we all had fun. I told them I wanted to make blueberry jam and if we had enough left over we could also make blueberry pie. I think that motivated Eve and Alan! We came home with almost nine pounds of blueberries!
