Arkham Nights: Monsters Above
http://arkhamnights.blogspot.com/2009/12/monsters-above.html
An adventure in the Cthulhu mythos. Thursday, December 3, 2009. Mandy left the Great Hall of Celeano and returned through the gate to The Unnamable in Arkham. She immediately closed the gate. Unfortunately she was not able to seal the location. Joe left Independence Square and passed through several neighborhoods to get to the Witch House in French Hill. As soon as he neared the house, he was drawn into the open gate next to it. He was sent to the cold arid Plateau of Leng. Monsters in Arkham: 3/4. Offic...

Arkham Nights: Southside Strangler Revealed
http://arkhamnights.blogspot.com/2009/12/southside-stranger-revealed.html
An adventure in the Cthulhu mythos. Saturday, December 5, 2009. After recovering from his strange return to Arkham, Joe stood up and closed the Witch House gate. In the City of the Great Race, Mandy's situation mysteriously became more clear and soon she was able to see the return gate to Arkham in a nearby neighborhood. She headed for the gate. At about the same time, a monster surge produced a Zombie from the gate in The Woods. But it ambled to the Outskirts of town with the other monsters.

The Time Door Is Closing: The Cave
http://thetimedoorisclosing.blogspot.com/2008/09/cave.html
Monday, September 1, 2008. Harry and I loved to explore while growing up. There was a place just outside of town, not too far from our grandma and grandpa's house, that had plenty of ground to explore. It was located just behind what we called the Corner Dump. In fact, it wasn't too far from where we had our titanic rafting excursion. So we spent a lot of time there that day, thinking we had really been great explorers to have found a "cave". It started getting late so we returned home.

The Time Door Is Closing: June 2008
http://thetimedoorisclosing.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 30, 2008. Our first garage was a long, narrow shed that was divided into several sections. The picture below shows it from behind as it was being torn down in early 1987. We spent a lot of time in our clubhouse. The picture above was taken from the outside looking in. We held our top secret meetings and many of our valueless treasures in there. I guess it was because of those reasons that we decided it needed protection. Friday, June 27, 2008. Monster in the Closet. I then ran back to the ot...

The Time Door Is Closing: Exploring an Empty House
http://thetimedoorisclosing.blogspot.com/2008/09/exploring-empty-house.html
Monday, September 15, 2008. Exploring an Empty House. When Harry and I were in high school, our junior or senior year most likely, we were with a small group of friends riding around on the back roads between towns one day when we found an empty house set back a short distance from the road. We parked the car and headed in to investigate. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Come back for a new memory every Monday and Friday. What is this site about? Exploring an Empty House. The Time Door Is Closing: House of Pain
http://thetimedoorisclosing.blogspot.com/2008/08/house-of-pain.html
Monday, August 4, 2008. This house had once been a large two-story farmhouse (if I remember correctly). And no one had lived in it for years. So what were we doing out there? Speeding the effects of time on an abandoned building, of course. We were throwing bricks, kicking things down, just causing harmless damage to an old object that didn't mind. There was no way. Needless to say, as soon as the dust from their vehicle was gone we were in ours and headed home! Monday, August 25, 2008 - UPDATE. Harry's ...

The Time Door Is Closing: July 2008
http://thetimedoorisclosing.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 28, 2008. It was Harry's 14th or 15th birthday. We had done about all we could with our K-Mart Special bicycles, so for his birthday his parents got him a new ten-speed bike. We were both so excited. Now our thoughts shifted from bike stunts to speed. After the party he and I took it out for its maiden flight. I was still on my K-Mart special, but I was able to keep up with him. We rode all the way down Main Street to the south end of town. And this is what we were doing:. We were driving al...

Arkham Nights: Climbing A Rope
http://arkhamnights.blogspot.com/2009/12/climbing-rope.html
An adventure in the Cthulhu mythos. Friday, December 4, 2009. Mandy left The Unnamable and made her way to the open gate in The Woods. She was pulled through the gate and sent to The City of the Great Race. I left the General Store and went to the Silver Twilight Lodge. I was slowly working my way to the southeast part of town to South Church. I thought a blessing would help us in our cause. Monsters in Arkham: 4/4. Monsters in Outskirts: 5/7. AO Doom Track: 10/13. Arkham Nights: The Last Gate Closed
http://arkhamnights.blogspot.com/2009/12/last-gate-closed.html
An adventure in the Cthulhu mythos. Sunday, December 6, 2009. The Last Gate Closed. I left the church and went to the nearby Historical Society. I found a couple of things. The first was a parchment with the word "Cthulhu" on it, which was the same thing the man in the jail cell at the Police Station had said. That must be the name of the Ancient One threatening Arkham. The second thing I found would be dealt with at a later time. Monsters in Arkham: 4/4. Monsters in Outskirts: 0/7. AO Doom Track: 10/13.

Arkham Nights: December 2009
http://arkhamnights.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
An adventure in the Cthulhu mythos. Monday, December 7, 2009. It had been an epic night. The threatening storm had never unleashed its fury. Several people died, but many more monsters died. We had seen many Other Worlds. The realm of magic had been tapped. I had been driven insane, twice. And yet we all survived. As for me, I decided to move on. I would miss the town and the people I helped save. It would be a while before I could sleep peacefully again there. I may return some day to visit ...I left th...
