Our adventure's of living in Mexico, the good, the bad and the ugly! Wednesday, April 30, 2014. Well tomorrow marks 4 years of being here, time sure flys when you're having fun! I have to say that it took me a long time to get used to living here but now I love it! Of course there are people and things that I miss, like family and friends, the beach, wonderful trails, and Publix Subs! So things here are different but in a good way. And of course I hadn't saved it, my bad or his? What have I been up to?

Our adventure's of living in Mexico, the good, the bad and the ugly! Friday, October 25, 2013. Just returned from a mini vacation to the awesome city of Guanajuato. We stayed for three nights at a fabulous B&B that was way up on the hillside, which gave us amazing views of the city, so beautiful at night! Needless to say they were pretty upset . Exploring the city was fun, with plenty of things to do and see, we had so much fun we plan on going back next back next year. View from our room.

Thursday, July 31, 2014. I had planned on going to the spa this morning. Maybe tomorrow. It is very crowded there now. Best to go as soon as it opens or it gets too crowded. This is summer holidays. Families go in there, bring picnics and stay all day. At the cost of 210 pesos per adult and 110 pesos per child, it has to become an all day thing. My first instinct is to hide in my bed until things 'blow over', but I've never allowed myself that reaction. Instead, I go into what my husband calls "function/solution mode".
