Enjoying Life's Little Blessings. Friday, August 01, 2014. Somehow the kids talked me into doing something we like to call adventure camp. Basically we invited all their friends about 30 kids, ages 3-10 to come spend 2 hours a day doing crafts and games revolving around a theme. The first day Katelyn was in charge and we did an ocean theme. We played Fish, Fish Shark. did ocean relay races, made a cute fish tank out of paper plates and decorated fish sugar cookies among other things. The kids LOVED it!

Enjoying Life's Little Blessings. Tuesday, November 05, 2013. This year for Halloween we decided to go easy. We have a HUGE dress up bin and they got to pick a costume from there. we happen to have a girl and boy pirate costumes that would have been perfect but Peter flat out refused to wear a costume. oh well maybe next year. Enjoying Life's Little Blessings. Sunday, July 20, 2014. This year we were in a group with the swendsens and Willards. We tried to have a ocean theme. We made paper plate Jellyfish and for snack we strung fruitloops onto pipe-cleaners and shaped them into fish. we aslo had some bead work going on as well as water activities. We love to play people bowling with my big exercise ball and we added a fun twist by having everyone fill a cup with water and putting it on their heads, always a favorite.

July 01, 2012. On Friday night we went to Downtown Disney and ate at the T-Rex Restaurant. The venue was incredible. There were life size dinosaurs, a woolly mammoth, gigantic octopus, and much more. April 26, 2012. My parents watched Sadie and Jax (they were already feeling much better by Monday, although, now they have rashes and it turns out they have Hand, Foot, Mouth Disease - YUCK! But at least they're feeling better). We tried to get McKay to sleep in the crib (shown below) but he didn't like it. So, Moe and I slept in one bed and Ben slept in the other. It reminded me of the cruise we went on where we accidentally booked a room with bunk beds. Get me out of here people! Yummy apples, dad!

October 31, 2011. And it's not even Halloween yet. We've been celebrating Halloween for weeks now. Finally the actual day is here! I think the kids think the holiday has already come and gone already. We've done a fall festival, caramel apples, a pumpkin patch, joy school party, and Trunk or Treat. Walking through the corn maze at the fall festival. Jax peeks from his stroller along the corn maze. The kids enjoyed rolling these pumpkins around. They would have done it the whole time if we had let them.
