Wednesday, September 24, 2008. Shimmy Shimmy Cocoa Puff. This past weekend I learned that I can shimmy with the best of them! Shimmy is a cool belly dancing "work-out" on FitTV and believe it or not I actually like it (me and physical activity usually don't mix well). Combinations of hip moves and shoulder rolls (a stiff version of the an old school fave - "the snake"). Made for an interesting 20 minutes. But it wasn't the "go-head-sweat-girl-feel-the-burn" type of activity that I want and need.
