October 21, 2013. This area that most of us live and attend school is so gorgeous! The Mississippi River valley is really something when summer comes to an end and the leaves start to change colors for fall. I’ve always said that this area is extremely “recreation blessed” and I’ll always believe it. We have the river for water recreation, the small lakes, the walking/running/biking trails, and the bluffs for hiking! Especially right now with the colors! We even went back a second time last week!
