The origin of the Swiss Days event date back to the late 1940's as the harvest was being completed, local farmers and ranchers got together for a celebration of bountiful harvest. Harvest Days" became Swiss Days and presented the opportunity to dress in the traditional clothing unique to the canton or region of Switzerland where our ancestors were born.

Monday, April 28, 2008. I received my order of seeds from Bountiful Gardens- www.bountifulgardens.org. And got them planted in my kitchen. Hopefully we will have some delicious organic fruits and veggies by the end of the summer! Friday, April 18, 2008. Here is what it looked like on Monday. It was 73 degrees and HOT! Thursday, June 26, 2008. Alli wanted a real cake for her actual birthday so we made a red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting. Alli decorated the cake herself. Wednesday, November 26, 2008. We had the opportunity to go to Disneyland for the past two days with the kiddos. It was a lot of fun but extremely tiring! I have been doing work for an organization that oversees all of the archery business in the U.S. Archery Trade Association (ATA). I haven't had time to really do anything else!
