Mrs Lacher's Class. I Wish You a Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year! Monday we celebrated the Polar Express Day with our class. We read the story. We wore our pj’s and slippers and had hot coco and popcorn while we watched the movie. We also completed some Polar Express art and center rotations. Tuesday we continued writing to persuade with letters to Santa about what we would like to get for Christmas. We celebrated Kyla’s Birthday and worked on some Christmas center rotations! Mrs Lacher's Class. Force and Motion and Measurement. Monday, we began our force and motion unit and worked on measuring our shoes in math. We also enjoyed computer lab working on some math games. Tuesday, we enjoyed gym and library as well as working on some testing with Mrs. Lacher for our middle of the year progress reports. We measured our friends shoes as well. We performed several science experiments with motion to see how things move and write about it in our science journals. Please send 2 HEALTHY.

Mrs Lacher's Class. Kindergarten Goes Under the Sea! Monday, we enjoyed computer lab and learning about animal habitats! We worked on an animal habitat weekly reader. We had fun practicing our In the Sea reader’s Theatre as well. Tuesday, we enjoyed music and gym as well as working on adding with a Roll and Record game in Math. We also continued our President’s Day book learning about the symbols of America. We are adding 2 groups in math and learning how to write an addition sentence. Friday, March 17th.

Mrs Lacher's Class. Monday, we began our week by learning about making inferences or connections to a story. We learned some new sight words this week: at and get. We took the MAP Reading test in the computer lab. It is the Measures of Academic Progress test and Mrs. Lacher will share the results with parents at conferences.
