Footprints in the Sand. Tuesday, July 28, 2009. Adrien started swimming lesson last Monday (7-20-09). All beginners are required to attend everyday lesson for two weeks. It is an indoor pool. The class ratio is 4:1. Parents are not allow to the pool area. We watch from the glass surrounded the pool. The kids are not able to see their parents from the pool. Friday - Missed a lesson. Footprints in the Sand. Tuesday, June 30, 2009. Adrien Primary Class - Game Day. I brought two cookies cake to Adrien's class on June 26th to celebrate his 3rd Birthday with his friends. The kids love the cookies cake and some of them asked for second serving. It was Friday and game day. Each child brought a game from home that day.The most popular games were the hippo games that catches ball game and the fishing game. Friday, June 19, 2009. Pictures were taken in "ah cho's" garden. La Strada was rated "excellent" in zagat and was known for it hearty, flavorful menu of creative Italian dishes and luscious homemade dessert. The ambience was really great. We spent our Saturday lunch there with Uncle Colin and Feh Teng ah yi. Daddy had Fettucini Afredo and mommy had Seafood Omelet. Adrien had both. Fun at the bar. Friday, May 29, 2009. Sometime back, we brought my mum to Carcosa to savor its English High Tea before its closure end of last year. I still vividly remember the yummy scones topped with strawberry jam and cream during my last visit many years back. Somehow, I've to say that their standard somewhat dropped and the high tea doesn't taste that good for the price :(. Took a few photos of the Dining Room for remembrance :p.

There was plenty of opportunity to make families and kids portraits which have taught me a bunch about portrait lighting. Of course I'm still far from the level of photography I want to achieve but as long as I'm improving, I'm happy. 2013 will be here soon, hopefully it's going to be a good year for everybody!

Seattle is the northernmost major city in the contiguous United States, and the largest city in the Pacific Northwest and the state of Washington (per Wikipedia), about 4.5hrs flight from Houston, TX. Seattle was also the first destination of our 2 weeks trip. Though a short stay, it was great one for us. The market overlook the Elliott Bay. Yup, they sell boneless banana too! Links to this post.

They are 10 months old now and they have brought plenty of joy to our home. It was an incredible year, incredibly busy, incredibly tired, most of all, incredibly happy.
