What a blessing it is to have little Laney Lou join our family. She was born on Saturday February 12th to my youngest daughter Kristen and her husband Ben. What a joy! A gift from God bringing this new little personality, this new soul into our lives. It is so much fun to have them all here and close by so we can get together! Subscribe to: ...

Mark's "Younger Next Year" Journey. Monday, November 15, 2010. Okay, I'm still on track but wasn't able to walk much this past week due to. you guessed it, another pulled muscle in the same left calf. This time I was playing racquetball with my friend Sid. I think I'm going to hold off on that until I lose another 20 lbs. or after the run in January! I think I ate Pizza twice at work and took Jon and Katie to dinner for his birthday Wednesday night and had pizza again! Saturday, November 6, 2010. Becky a...

Mark's "Younger Next Year" Journey: Countdown!
http://mgwar58yny.blogspot.com/2011/01/countdown.html
Mark's "Younger Next Year" Journey. Monday, January 10, 2011. Walked 12 miles at the Kearns Olympic Speed Skating Oval on Saturday. Their track goes around the Speed skating track and is an oddball length but it beats Gene Fullmer where we would have had to go 192 laps to make 12 miles! As it was, I went 41 laps in the 3rd lane which is 12 miles and did it in 2 hours and 55 minutes! Not too bad for a fat man! At that rate I hope to make the 1/2 M in under 3 hours and 30 minutes! Can't wait for our #6 gra...
