Thursday, June 30, 2005. I'm back from Buffalo! I have a bit more sock accomplished, but not much. Hey, you try finding time to knit while supervising 8 teenagers for a week! However, I did find time to take a blog survey for MIT. This morning. If you blog, take the survey - it only takes a few minutes, and it will help the Media Lab learn more about the blogposphere. Posted by Danielle at Thursday, June 30, 2005. Thursday, June 23, 2005. I finished a toe at lunch. I like it well enough to keep. Tuesday,...

Tuesday, November 29, 2005. What about the Whitbys? Yes, I am working on them still. In fact, I'm just about ready to turn the heels. My dad tried them on this Sunday. Despite the fact that they look impossibly tiny, they fit him quite nicely. The ribbing expands nicely, and he has skinny lil' legs! I will be at the Colorado Springs Olympic Training Center. Thursday, September 29, 2005. Pumpkin time of year. I'm talking about these ones. I will leave you with a parting shot of one of my favorite pumpkins. Blue and green may not be the typical choice for a pumpkin, but I love the way the colors seem to be in motion. Posted by Danielle at Thursday, September 29, 2005. Wednesday, September 28, 2005. The 4 green lace edgings, one for each side of the baby blanket, are done. Two are blocked and two more are happily sunbathing on my living room floor. Yarn: Koigu...

Tuesday, January 31, 2006. Hats, socks, sleeves, and swimmers! I've been a busy little bee this week. Saturday, I spent about 13 hours on this pool deck with these swimmers . The girls did a FABULOUS job at their New England Junior and Senior championship meet. We entered one senior team and 2 junior teams, and won 2 gold medals and a silver. Can't get much better than that! While I was coaching, I sent my wonderful husband to mail out my red scarves. Here they are, all tagged and ready to go. I guess I ...

Monday, February 27, 2006. Did I ever mention that out of my small handful of regular or semi-regular commenters, many are named Chris(tine)? Oh yeah, and hi to Kristen. Too, since that's darn close to Christine. Posted by Danielle at Monday, February 27, 2006. I am proud to announce that I finished my last Olympic knit - the Pepto Pink Hoodie - just under the wire! The buttons were sewn on at the Team Boston. Closing ceremonies party hosted by the fabulous Cara. A skein of beautiful handspun (? I love h...

Wednesday, December 28, 2005. Now for a report on the rest of the holiday . Da liked his lobster claw mittens . It's not the best photo, but I'm not sure that he would understand why I needed to take a better one. ("For the log? Oh, you said blog? Oh, on the computer ."). Rest assured, this is a look of deep appreciation for wooly handknits. My mom and dad liked the Red Sox Socks. Photos to follow, as I did not take any on Christmas Day. And Barbara Walker's Treasury of Knitting Patterns. I think the dir...

Friday, April 28, 2006. I had dinner with a friend and her baby on Wednesday. This is Baby K, recipient of the lacy baby blanket. This is an old photo - from St. Patrick's Day. Look, he's wearing one of the hats that I made him! That, in combination with this. Means that he is destined to get more handknits! What's your favorite sweater, etc. for a baby boy? Posted by Danielle at Friday, April 28, 2006. Thursday, April 27, 2006. Bed socks for Boss Lady. How can you resist a request like that? I have some...

http://aswiminknits.blogspot.com/2005_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 26, 2005. After looking at yesterday's photos of my living room covered with yarn, I realized that my office looked about the same (less yarn, more papers, same tornado-swept appearance.). So, I decided to clean up a bit and ended with this. Not bad for 20 minutes of work. The observant among you may notice the ball of yarn in the top photo. I promise no yarn was harmed in the cleaning of the office. It's now in a more suitable place.). Posted by Danielle at Friday, August 26, 2005. Hopefu...
