This is not a vegan food blog. This is not a vegan lifestyle blog. This is the vegan everything. Blog Seriously. There will be food. There will be events. There will be stories. There will be my adopted bun-friend, Pippin. If it is vegan related it has a chance to make this blog. Hope you enjoy the ride! Saturday, March 19, 2011. Oh agave, agave! You are my candy girl. Tofu & Potatoes (and other vegan foods)
http://tofuandpotatoes.blogspot.com/2010/05/okay-its-been-awhile.html
Sunday, May 23, 2010. Okay, it's been awhile. I blame the intranet and my two week lack of cooking. The other couple of weeks were probably just laziness. Anyways, in the spirit of not being lazy, I have compiled a few short lists:. Foods I'd like to make for the first time:. Ingredients I'd like to use for the first time:. And just because I always have trouble remembering this list. Five foods I do not like:. July 19, 2010 at 6:59 PM. Please share more recipes! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Kamutflake Girl: cornmeal cooking
http://bulletsoflove.blogspot.com/2010/02/golden-cornmeal-pantry-wonder.html
Suns, stars, and heart-shapes in the checkered vegan kitchen. Sunday, February 21, 2010. Ah, remember the hearts? Now why can I never seem to keep from smiling at the thought of little cookie cutters? I made them to adorn a roasted eggplant and chestnut bisque (with blood orange and mint), but the trick is that I made them spicy! 160;It's pretty simple to do, and I learned a new method for making polenta thanks to Mark Bittman. Instead of boiling the water and then. 160;It's SO almost the same thing.

Kamutflake Girl: June 2009
http://bulletsoflove.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Suns, stars, and heart-shapes in the checkered vegan kitchen. Tuesday, June 23, 2009. Blueberry velvet, minty eggplant, and VEGAN BRUNCH! So we're finally in the present, now! 160;That was so weird, being back in time for so long. well, status quo and time re-adjustment has been achieved (thank you Doc! And I'm the proud owner of not only Vegan Brunch. But the Tropical Vegan Kitchen. 160;More on those at the end of the post, because I'm such a stickler for temporal integrity. although you'd never. 160;To...

Tofu & Potatoes (and other vegan foods): Mochi (aka Daifuku?)
http://tofuandpotatoes.blogspot.com/2010/03/mochi-aka-daifuku.html
Monday, March 22, 2010. I don't even know where to start with mochi. how about I've had four today? Or that they are really easy to make (you use the microwave! And that they can be filled with red bean paste (one of my favourite foods! They're a not-too-sweet dessert made from glutinous rice flour (which is actually still gluten free - glutinous here just means sticky) which is wrapped around whatever filling you want: berries, red or white bean paste, even ice cream, apparently. Vegan with a Vengeance.

Kamutflake Girl: September 2009
http://bulletsoflove.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Suns, stars, and heart-shapes in the checkered vegan kitchen. Tuesday, September 22, 2009. Marigold, amber, sunset, mango, emberblush, citrus, tigerstripe, glow! Oh, I am so procrastinating right now. And isn't that *totally* the best time to blog, when it feels like a sneaky indulgent privilege to be able to write about all this stuff? I didn't plan the colour scheme at all, but there it is. Orange is. Then I saw Smitten Kitchen's recent cornbread salad. Moment of silence , snicker snicker *. Of cour...

Kamutflake Girl: July 2009
http://bulletsoflove.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Suns, stars, and heart-shapes in the checkered vegan kitchen. Wednesday, July 22, 2009. Raw Week, RawR! Goji coconut almond cookies. I'm almost done my raw week. It's been easy in a lot of ways (the food is just as delicious as any "normal" food), and in other ways a bit of a challenge (detox symptoms, having to throw out lots of food that spoiled unexpectedly fast, the whole nut soaking thing, the whole raw food extremism thing). I jumped in headfirst. Would you look at that? Raw oats ground up in a s...

Kamutflake Girl: April 2009
http://bulletsoflove.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Suns, stars, and heart-shapes in the checkered vegan kitchen. Tuesday, April 28, 2009. Phun with Phyllo (and a blog makeover). 160;So right now, that list involves things like homemade bagels, tibetan yak dumplings, mole sauce, and anything ethiopian. and until very recently - anything with phyllo pastry! 160;I finally tried using it, not without trepidation, in a recipe I've been itching to make since the moment I saw it (and did not forget it) - Jenny Wren's fennel corn phyllo pockets. Nooooo. not ...

Kamutflake Girl: Hiatus, or "How I learned to miss the vegan universe"
http://bulletsoflove.blogspot.com/2009/11/hiatus-or-how-i-learned-to-miss-vegan.html
Suns, stars, and heart-shapes in the checkered vegan kitchen. Tuesday, November 17, 2009. Hiatus, or "How I learned to miss the vegan universe". It's been forever, huh. I have to admit that I was testing my reaction to not blogging for a while. After losing the camera of course my zest/zingawow kinda faded, one can only do so much with a webcam when every casserole looks about the same as your sock pile. And you do never know how much you love something until you lose it, right? Sorry for your cam :(.

Kamutflake Girl: Birthday #5: raw rosewater cheesecake
http://bulletsoflove.blogspot.com/2008/07/birthday-5-raw-rosewater-cheesecake.html
Suns, stars, and heart-shapes in the checkered vegan kitchen. Saturday, July 12, 2008. Birthday #5: raw rosewater cheesecake. Pomme's birthday, precious Pomme deserves a precious cake! A cake that faeries might design if they were into that sort of thing. Something deviously healthy and yet richer than sin, delicate like tea-time but exotic, too. Something refreshing that can still be cut into a nice solid "wodge" of nutty pink cream. something like a pistachio rosewater cheesecake! Ummmwanna mark you ca...
