The Toler Family: February 2014
http://thetolerfamily.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 4, 2014. The Day the Clouds Came Down. Living in the mountains of central Mexico has been a new adventure for this Florida girl. The weather changes as quickly as the wind this time of year. One day we woke up to find the mountain covered in what we thought was a dense fog, but the fog didn't lifted as the day went on. We were sitting in the clouds and the clouds stayed around for two long, cold days. We were cold to the bone, and in the village, there is no place to get warm.

Monday, October 21, 2013. Making Memories Monday - Field Trip! One of the great things about studying U.S. History (homeschool) in rural Mexico, is that you don't have to go far out your front door to find people working and living much like our pioneer ancestors did a few hundred years ago. While reading. WARNING: There are many pictures in this blog entry. The process was so interesting and the colors so amazing! Here is the wool yard before it has been washed and dyed. The beginnings of a wool rug.

The Toler Family: September 2013

Monday, September 9, 2013. Making Memories Monday - Through the Eyes of a Child. He said, "Mom, the dew on the grass was just so beautiful this morning.". I pray that even when our life gets more settled, he will always take the time to notice the little details in God's great creation! Let my teaching fall like rain and my words descend like dew, like showers on new grass, like abundant rain on tender plants." Deuteronomy 32:2. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). More Morning of.}. The Toler Family: Overflowing with Thanksgiving
http://thetolerfamily.blogspot.com/2014/11/overflowing-with-thanksgiving.html
Thursday, November 27, 2014. I stopped by our blog the other day and realized it has been over three months since I've posted an update. Life has been a little busy, needless to say. I thought Thanksgiving was the perfect time to give a quick overview of this fall with the Toler Family. We stayed on the go this fall, but all our trips were very productive and fun! Elyse and her best friend have birthdays a little over a week apart. The beginning of our Pame library. My dad really enjoyed learning about t...

The Toler Family: July 2014
http://thetolerfamily.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 21, 2014. This Little Light of Mine. When we first visited Mexico almost three years ago, my sweet, little three-year old saw a group of preschool kids performing a traditional dance. She told me then that she wanted to live in Mexico so that she could go to school and dance like those kids. Elyse and our friend getting ready for the show. Elyse's fine hair required a lot of hair spray! The finished product. Beautiful! Elyse's Padrino (kind of like a sponsor for her graduation) and family.

The Toler Family: Waiting, Trusting, and Taking the Next Step
http://thetolerfamily.blogspot.com/2015/02/waiting-trusting-and-taking-next-step.html
Friday, February 13, 2015. Waiting, Trusting, and Taking the Next Step. Wait for the Lord. Be strong and take heart. And wait for the Lord. Now, we wait for the doctor to review all the imaging Kris has had done over the past 2 months to make sure that there is nothing the doctors missed and to make sure the anatomy of his aorta will support having a stent put in. Once those things are confirmed, we will move forward with scheduling the procedure to repair his re-coarctation. February 13, 2015 at 11:05 AM.

Saturday, June 14, 2014. Date Night, Dancing and a Good Dose of Mangos! Here is a little photo update of our last trip to the village. Kieran and Elyse set up a date night for us. Kieran made spaghetti and Elyse set up the table and waited on us. Very Romantic! One of our favorite things about Mexico is yummy fruit! Right now it is mango season and the kids have learned how to peel and eat the whole thing! Elyse loves to dance! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). More Morning of.}. Worship through the Storm.

The Toler Family: A Walk Down Memory Lane - Christmas Version
http://thetolerfamily.blogspot.com/2014/12/a-walk-down-memory-lane-christmas.html
Monday, December 22, 2014. A Walk Down Memory Lane - Christmas Version. Now that I am an adult and parent, I know I had had the coolest and smartest parents in the world! A whole week of kid-free Christmas shopping and preparations.WHAT? Way to go mom and dad! The stocking were hung. Opening presents with my mom. I seem a little confused by the football. Our grandmama wasn't the best cook, but she hid it well. She had perfected a few meals which just happened to be our favorites! I've learned over the ye...
