Glamourous Outcasts: April 2010
http://glamourousoutcasts.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 29, 2010. Garance Dore is in Sydney. Ahh gutted I just missed the opening of Garance Dore's collaboration with Westfield and the chance to meet her. It was today at Westfield Bondi Junction. Check out Westfield website or her blog for more info. Http:/ www.garancedore.fr/en/. Time Warp on Parramatta Road. Does anyone know the little Milk Bar on Parramatta Road in Annandale? That was the best I could do quickly taking a photo on the bus. A little town called Wu Zhen. Sunday, April 25, 2010.

Four Smoking Mirrors: July 2010

Saturday, July 31, 2010. Artist Christian Robert-Tissot. image from his online portfolio. Monday, July 26, 2010. The Books - A Cold Freezin' Night. From Paul de Jong / Nick Zammuto. Friday, July 23, 2010. What I found down there was a veritable Victorian dungeon of delights, complete with dim lighting and a slightly musty smell. My eyes slowly grew accustomed to the gloom, revealing a mad mix of antique furniture, clothing and other random objects with no discernable use. Wednesday, July 21, 2010. Invent...

Glamourous Outcasts: Kyoto Costume Institute Digital Archive
http://glamourousoutcasts.blogspot.com/2010/05/kyoto-costume-institute-digital-archive.html
Wednesday, May 19, 2010. Kyoto Costume Institute Digital Archive. I recently stumbled upon the Kyoto Costume Institute website, where they have a digital historical archive you can download. It is very easy to browse through, it is categorised into era and its predominate silhouette. It is a great reference to have handy for historical dress. There are so any interesting costumes in this archive from 1700s to 1940s. There's also accessories and footwear. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Glamourous Outcasts: My Prints in Progress.
http://glamourousoutcasts.blogspot.com/2010/05/my-prints-in-progress.html
Thursday, May 27, 2010. My Prints in Progress. So I've finally drawn up some designs for my line work prints that are going to be on chiffon. This one was just random doodling with the intention that it may turn into something good. This one works a lot better with my digital prints. This is going to go on chiffon which is then layered over ombre and my digital prints. This is still early stages and it may all change. I will post more pics as I go along. You are a very talented illustrator, miss!

Four Smoking Mirrors: Ahem... Excuse Me...
http://foursmokingmirrors.blogspot.com/2010/07/ahem-excuse-me.html
Monday, July 12, 2010. For my absence these past few weeks. I was lucky enough to be set loose in London and was rather too busy enjoying everything that amazing city has to offer to find time to sit myself in front of a computer. That said, I have now discovered a whole load more inspiration to share so stay tuned! Being London, creativity turned up in the most unexpected places, such as this Strawberry Shortcake wallpaper lining the bathroom walls in The Breakfast Club cafe in Hoxton. Love it!
