How to find us. Alex, Mel and family are looking forward to welcome you to their 'little seaside gem' year round. Last winter we have improved our little playground and have added a great play boat for the kids! Also the creek banks had to be reinforced and we continued planting natives around the camp. We are proud of having obtained the Kiwi Holiday Park membership and a Qualmark * *plus rating. Our guests have been enjoying this new facilities and the feedback has been overwhelming, thanks.

How to find us. Up to 3.5 hours either side of low tide a beautiful walk south along the beach will take you to the boulders (around 25 minutes one way). To drive there it's 1.5km south on the main road at all times. One of the best spots in NZ to view them. Drive south to Moeraki Village. At entrance to the village watch out for the sign 'to lighthouse road'. Follow the lighthouse road (good gravel road) to the lighthouse (8 km from the park). Best time to view them is around 1-2 hours before sunset.

From a knitter living in Hampden in the South Island of New Zealand. Wednesday, September 12, 2012. The Return of Spring. Yesterday with the sun returning the lovely Melanie from Moeraki Boulders Holiday Park. Agreed to model the Queen of the Night for me. Her verdict was that it was very warm and comfortable and she thought the shape was just right, which was nice because I really agonised over the shape and did more maths than I've done since I left school. Hand dyed by Doe Arnott. He's very messy, too.
