'Aki'lles: Organic food: Is it worth the money?
http://akshai47.blogspot.com/2009/07/organic-food-is-it-worth-money.html
Friday, July 31, 2009. Organic food: Is it worth the money? Invariably right next to the shelf filled with normal looking potatoes or onions are their neat and well packaged organic counterparts. Both the conventional and organic varieties are sold under the same supermarket brand name, so there is not much to chose between the brand as such (hey, its only vegetables after all! Among others, researchers reviewed papers published on this topic over the last 50 years before arriving at this conclusion.

'Aki'lles: Good riddance to Big 'Bore'ther..
http://akshai47.blogspot.com/2009/08/good-riddance-to-big-borether.html
Saturday, August 29, 2009. Good riddance to Big 'Bore'ther. Channel 4 is finally drawing the curtains on the reality show Big Brother. Thank God for that! I personally think that a series about the Loch Ness monster or UFO sightings and alien invasions would be much more closer to reality than Big Brother. Channel 4 claims that the show still has an audience base of 2 million in the U.K! I really really hope they don't find another 'supposed-to-be' reality show to fill up these reclaimed slots.

Thursday, July 14, 2005. Education for all - A distant dream? The lousiest remark of the day had to be this one "I have told the Central government that as it is we are special category states and we won't be able to provide even one rupee towards education reform" - Assam Chief Minister. Brilliant remark indeed! Truly, brings out his immense commitment to the cause. Well unfortunately in our country education is in the hands of uneducated fools, what can one really expect from these specimens.

Thursday, September 27, 2012. Strong title to convey an half hearted intention of resurrecting my blog. Actually, reserructing is a big word itself in this context, given that my blog page never had that many hits even during its brief glorious reign. Glorious reign.well that's a bit of a exaggeration, to say the least. I think I should stop this ramble for the moment and get to writing a proper post sometime soon! Posted by Akshai @ 3:36 PM. Monday, February 27, 2006. You hear it in calling bells; you hear it being played in shops and malls. You hear it on the T.V and the radio, songs and advertisements inspired by or blatantly drawing from the rich collection of his works. You may not even recognize it or realize it but you cannot deny the influence of Mozart in your life. Though Mozart didn't live long enough (passed away at the age of 35), his influence would live on forever. Posted by Akshai @ 2:41 AM 1 comments. Monday, February 20, 2006.

Tuesday, December 28, 2004. Swades - Where are the people? Swades is a refreshing change from the world of stereotype ‘masala’ movies churned out dime a dozen by the movie industry. One may wonder whether a movie can made without the following elements thrown in:. An emotional love story. A duet song in some exotic locale in Europe or Australia. So what’s the flip side of the movie? Looking at the low number of movie goers turning up to watch this movie one wonders 'Where are the people? The brave men of...

Sunday, September 18, 2005. Its not that I am totally dumb (I am quite close, but not yet there) and wouldn't understand anything about the market. Is it then a lack of interest? Or is it simply because I feel good by taking on the moral high ground of not being overly attached with money, I wonder. It feels good, but is such an attitude even remotely practical? Posted by Akshai @ 12:14 AM 0 comments. Thursday, September 15, 2005. Showering the BCC commissioner with praises he remarked - 'I wish he conti...
