Days To Remember: Cabin Getaway
http://jrmegmeadowsfamily.blogspot.com/2015/07/cabin-getaway.html
Saturday, July 4, 2015. Friday afternoon we headed up to the cabin to beat the heat, get out of town, and relax with dad. It was just what we needed and we had a great time. The kids never want to leave- sticks, hiking, relaxing, being outside, they love it! We slept over and then grandma and grandpa Holman came up Saturday morning for a little bit before we headed home. Love all my peoples! Posted by Meg Meadows. July 16, 2015 at 5:12 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Andrew is 12 months!

Days To Remember: June 2014
http://jrmegmeadowsfamily.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 25, 2014. Texas Friends Come to Tahoe. We were so excited to see the Johnsons! So happy that they were willing to drive down and take time away from their family and spend some time with us. The kids were a tiny bit reserved for about one minute- then it was like we hadn't been a part at all. Love and grateful for their friendship. Miss talking with them and hanging out. Sunset pic- best buds reunited! Lucy was so fun- the kids adore her and she warmed right up to J.R. One of the falls.

May 2015 - Whistling In The Dark
http://thirteenstreetcircus.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Red Butte Field Trips. I had the pleasure of being asked to join both Damon and Jonas' class on their field trips to Red Butte Gardens ;). That area is gorgeous and our guide was excellent! To not going with D's class (because I'd been there a few days before with J and just wasn't feeling it ;) but I'm glad Damon talked me into it! Very fortunate to live within a short distance of so many incredible places! Mom's are sooooo awesome. For real! I have so much love, respect and admiration for my mother....

October 2014 - Whistling In The Dark
http://thirteenstreetcircus.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
All Hallows Eve 2014. This year our Halloween was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! In my opinion, it just may be the best Halloween I've ever had. Not even joking! We carved our pumpkins the night before. And they turned out A! Also, I lucked out and got to plan the Halloween parties for Damon AND Jonas' class :) But since I could only be in one place at a time I ended up doing a darling photo booth and craft in Jonas' 1st grade class (with a Polaroid camera that completely blew their little minds! Another thing that...

January 2015 - Whistling In The Dark
http://thirteenstreetcircus.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
The Lost Photos From January. I'm slowly, but surely catching up on my posts! And once I'm all caught up I vow to never again get behind! Now someone, please hold me to that ;). Okay, technically this picture was taken on Damon's birthday (12/28) but it never got posted and I think it's a really great photo of Morgan so I pretty much have. Seriously though. What the hell is up with this weather? If only I had money for a summer home in Alaska! Holy smokes. Check that out! Jonas was in heaven! Speaking of...

The Emerald City (finally!) - Whistling In The Dark
http://thirteenstreetcircus.blogspot.com/2015/08/the-emerald-city-finally.html
The Emerald City (finally! So awhile back I mentioned a trip to Seattle ;) Don't even ask me why it's taken me TWO MONTHS to get around to blogging about it. But I'm now ready and better late than never and all that jazz. right? Way back on May 27 Ian, Ty and I hopped on a plane and spent 6 lovely days in the charming city of Seattle. Here is our trip as told through the lens of my (always present) camera :). This was my very first time travelling without Damon and Jonas! Initially we had plans to take a...

Experience Music Project & The Space Needle - Whistling In The Dark
http://thirteenstreetcircus.blogspot.com/2015/08/experience-music-project.html
Experience Music Project and The Space Needle. So there's this thing. You may have already heard of it :). We did spend quite a bit of time at the EMP though, which was something that Ian and Ty were really looking forward to. They had an exhibit of Star Wars costumes that was absolutely incredible! The evolution of Darth Sidious/ Emperor Palpatine. See what I mean? Super suberb stuff here! That's Ty there. They had the craziest stuff at this place! PS I love this picture of Ian! Seattle Central Library, Frye Museum & The Gum Wall - Whistling In The Dark
http://thirteenstreetcircus.blogspot.com/2015/08/seattle-city-library-frye-museum-gum.html
Seattle Central Library, Frye Museum and The Gum Wall. Years ago, someone told me that anytime you find yourself in a new city you should visit their main library. And I imagine the Seattle Central Library would be a perfect example of why this is such a good idea. What a stunning building! One of my very favorite photos of the trip - The Frye Salon. One of the only things I knew about Seattle was that they had this gum wall. I'm always seeing pictures of it. So I was surprised to find out that T...My na...

February 2015 - Whistling In The Dark
http://thirteenstreetcircus.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
The Lost Photos Of February. I just might vote this as one of my very favorite pictures from this year. I love how it perfectly captures an everyday moment in our lives. I also love how Jonas is tipping his cup upside down hoping to get one last tasty bit of gelato ;). Sunday morning art project. See that lovely lady sitting next to Ian in the teal sweater? That's my Grandma Darlin' and all these wonderful people came together to celebrate her 79th birthday :). Well, the dryer stopped working again just ...

Pike Place Market - Whistling In The Dark
http://thirteenstreetcircus.blogspot.com/2015/08/pike-place-public-market.html
I dare you to set foot in this place and not take a million pictures :) It just doesn't happen! There are so many things here to see! I clearly recall our first visit to Pike Place. Making mental notes like. 'oh! I need to try that'. and "next time I'm going to buy one of those". and "get a picture of that when we come back! Should I try it? And on and on and on :) To walk through this place is complete sensory overload and it's incredible! All of the hype! And those doughnuts were amazing! This was our ...
