Sylvia and Shane, and son, Harley and daughter, Phynia, are the proud new owners of Mondhuie and look forward to welcoming past and new visitors. Since moving in to Mondhuie at the end of 2013, we are pretty excited about getting the Chalet and the Bothy ready for our first season! Aviemore would be the nearest Train Station for anyone travelling up from the South or down from the North of the country. Of course there is the local Strathspey Steam Train from Aviemore, stopping at Boat of Garten then at Broomhill Station, just a mile from Nethy Bridge. Our 1st Anniversary in Mondhuie.

Meet the new owners. Travel Directions to Mondhuie. We have been having a new visitor hopping into the garden, a hare we have nicknamed ‘Blue’. This is fun to watch as he explores the garden, then quite amusing when he slept under a tree for the rest of the day! We kept checking to see if ‘he’ was still there, and sure enough when we got close enough 2 ears would pop up! We hope he will tell his mate the Easter Bunny to be sure and visit too! The Chalets at Mondhuie are on one acre of secluded grounds, glimpses of local wildlife can be seen including red squirrels, red deer, pheasants and birds galore. These charming properties are located on the edge of Abernethy Forest, part of the ancient Caledonian forest, within the Cairngorms National Park. The Bothy at Mondhuie has a living room and two bedrooms and can sleep four. Children and pets welcome.
