It's a Beautiful Life. Tuesday, February 21, 2012. President's Day Weekend in Midway, Utah. This was as much needed vacation. I'm so glad we decided to do it as I am not one for "last" minute plans but I'm trying. We spent the afternoon tubing at Soldier's Hollow. How great not to have to lug your tube up the hill! So, there were 6 lanes and we tried them all. I was pleasantly surprised at how fun and fast these runs were! Ella and Aidan had a blast to say the least. Lining up for another fun run! Such a...

Right Before Your Eyes. Movie night ». December 17, 2010. The giant cookies I made. The giant cookies I made for Katelynn's class to celebrate her birthday. December 17, 2010. The comments to this entry are closed. Happiness is a byproduct of helping others. No man ever finds happiness by thinking of himself. True happiness comes when we lose ourselves in the service of others- -when we are merciful to our fellowmen." Royden G. Derrick.

Getting our ducks in a row- The Dryg family journey. We may not have it all together. but together we have it all. Thursday, March 11, 2010. After we went to a McDonnalds, where Isaiah took Trumy to the top of his first playplace. It was love hate relationship. He alternated the crying with the laughing all the way up. After, when it was time to go, Ali attacked Jessica. She is her best friend and Ali did NOT want to leave her! Every time the weather teases us with a warm day, the clouds and snow or cold...

Getting our ducks in a row- The Dryg family journey. We may not have it all together. but together we have it all. Thursday, May 19, 2011. This is a (very poor) picture of Isaiah receiving his Religious Square Knot Scouting Award. I was so pleased to see him earn it. That is our Bishop, Bishop Dimond presenting it to him. I am really not a scheduler, planner, or organizer. My children will probably grow up to be procrastinators, and spontaneous, and not responsible planners. I love my kids, and their wel...

It's a Beautiful Life: September 2012
http://mattandsusanbrimley.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
It's a Beautiful Life. Wednesday, September 12, 2012. I forgot how much I love this hike! We haven't done it in years and the kids were smaller but it seemed harder even though the kids could walk by themselves and we didn't have to take turns carrying them. I blame it on the heat and the fact that I had just taught a killer power pump class. Maybe I'm just getting older. The hike to Timpanogos Caves is about an hour up the whole way but it is just beautiful. We stop to pose inside this tunnel- shade!
