Introducing Allergy Explorer | glutenfrei in berlin
https://glutenfreiberlin.wordpress.com/2014/09/24/introducing-allergy-explorer
An English language guide to eating gluten free in Berlin. Gluten Free Map of Berlin. Some time ago I had a thought in my brain box, a thought which I first believed to be quite simple. Why can’t it be easier for me to travel around the world and find out where I can eat? Surely you just have a website listing all the places that are Gluten Free right? Is it that difficult to do? How terrible is that! A whole 6 months I could have been stuffing my face and I didn’t even know it was there! While the site ...

The Life and Times of Mr Haytch: Yeast Based Experimentation
http://mrhaytch.blogspot.com/2011/09/yeast-based-experimentation.html
The Life and Times of Mr Haytch. Tuesday, 6 September 2011. I have recently become more and more irritated with the state of gluten free bread here in deutschland. You see, early this year I visited the home land, the UK, and sampled some of the gluten free breaded delights there. Compared to the brick like monstrosities you get here, they were heavenly. So, after a sufficient period of cathartic complaining, I decided to do something about it. Much googlings later and I arrived at this. Berlin Reified F...

The Life and Times of Mr Haytch: October 2014
http://mrhaytch.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
The Life and Times of Mr Haytch. Tuesday, 21 October 2014. Paris Day 8 - Weak Coffee and British Food. There is something to be said for a nice long holiday. Breaking out of your regular routine. Forgetting about all the stresses and problems of your every day life. Having a good excuse to eat a large dessert with every meal "well, I am on holiday! Actually having time to acclimatise to a new city before you go back. All good things for the psyche. Who orders Weak Coffee? My return wasn't all expensive s...

The Life and Times of Mr Haytch: September 2011
http://mrhaytch.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
The Life and Times of Mr Haytch. Thursday, 29 September 2011. Now when I cut out evil gluten, this improved and I got ill far less frequently. Whether it was psychosomatic or whether my system was a little less 'fucked' from being poisoned constantly, I am not sure. Either way, I seemed to fight off infections a little more. Then came this lovely substance. Ps I know this is technically not just zinc, but. The zinc on its own. Didn't look so delicious). The only other problem being that I'm not taking as...

The Life and Times of Mr Haytch: November 2011
http://mrhaytch.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
The Life and Times of Mr Haytch. Wednesday, 30 November 2011. WARNING - This blog post will contain lots of discussion of, and photos of, FOOD. If you do not like this, then why are you reading my blog? This is what I do bitch.* *. Basically some badly grilled chicken, around 5 GIANT bell peppers and some smatterings of green things (plus a decidedly average cup o tea). 'Fresh and Healthy' it was not, 'Overpriced and Blandly Wank' it was. Fortunately the next day it was breakfast at the Peach Hilton, and...

The Life and Times of Mr Haytch: January 2011
http://mrhaytch.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
The Life and Times of Mr Haytch. Tuesday, 25 January 2011. Sunday, 23 January 2011. Upon registering at the Goethe Institut I was giving a test. A much more intensive one and a little more than the "here's 15 questions on a badly photocopied peice of paper" I got from Parlando. So, after many questions, a written text part and an interview they concluded that I am level A22 (which is Level A2 - Part 2, before you think I'd just jumped a whole 21 levels). Monday, 10 January 2011. My 2010 in Randomness.

The Life and Times of Mr Haytch: Paris Day 2 - Drawn Boobs and Over-excitement
http://mrhaytch.blogspot.com/2014/10/paris-day-2-drawn-boobs-and-over.html
The Life and Times of Mr Haytch. Thursday, 16 October 2014. Paris Day 2 - Drawn Boobs and Over-excitement. Day one of any trip is always a bit rough. You have to deal with that whole "journey to the place you are going" thing, airports, lugging luggage around, finding out where the feck you are going and not knowing the customs and ways of the place you have arrived in (like having a bag in a supermarket is a crime in Paris). Plus, there are burger twats to deal with. They're very gripping and feel like ...
