Ange and Nath's Adventure Blog. Sunday, August 27, 2006. We had an awesome afternoon at laser skirmish, followed by dinner at Punjabi's and then a bit of a pub crawl throughout the city until we got back to the backpackers at 5am. We got up to a bit of mischief and took some funny photos but they're probably not for the public domain! Between the great company, food and cocktails at Jorge on George, the fabulous. Ange and Nath's Adventure Blog. Wednesday, April 11, 2007. The Great Ocean Road. part 2. After we left Lorne, we travelled the road until we got to Apollo Bay. We went for a little uphill hike to see another dry waterfall in the distance and then we srove up to a place called Mariner's lookout. The reason for the name was obvious because on a clear day you can see for miles - it's fabulous! Takes a little while to walk uphill again as the road doesn't go all the way to the top. They were so gorgeous.

We stayed in Lorne again on the way home and during a game of Canasta we heard a promo on Getaway for the first 100 callers to receive cheap accommodation at the Mercure in Melbourne! It was only $99 and we got a free breakfast too so it was a perfect end to our holiday! We had an iced chocolate - the house specialty I believe - and a. We went and hung out in the hotel room to let our stomachs settle and them we got doled up and went to the Casino.

Ange and Nath's Adventure Blog. Monday, September 04, 2006. We went to Long Island in the Whitsundays for a romantic week of relaxing, snorkelling and enjoying being newlyweds. It was really awesome and gorgeous and truly perfect! The water up there is a pure aquamarine colour and we enjoyed it whether we were in it, in a hammock or watching it from the bar! It was our first proper holiday together and couldn't have been any better. We even had a trip out to the Great Barrier Reef and a helicopter flight!

Ange and Nath's Adventure Blog. Wednesday, April 11, 2007. We ended up visiting the Twelve Apostles three times! Once in the afternoon when we got there, again at sunset after we secured the last bit of accommodation in the little town of Port Campbell and then again the next morning at sunrise. It meant that we got to take a heap of different photos with heaps of different lighting effects. I was only disappointed that we couldn't hang around for a few hours and see them in the midday sun!
