copyright question - A Community for Chamber Musicians
http://chambermusician.livejournal.com/4994.html
Mar 7th, 2007 @ 04:32 pm. I took a music business class years ago and can't remember. If it's classical music by dead composers, is it public domain for performance? March 8th, 2007 03:50 am (UTC). Beyond that, I don't know a lot off the top of my head. You can read the actual laws here:. March 8th, 2007 04:23 pm (UTC). Powered by LiveJournal.com.

Valve Oil - Horn Players
http://hornplayers.livejournal.com/383116.html
Tue, Sep. 1st, 2009, 08:20 pm. Besides Al Cass, what valve oil do you prefer? Wed, Sep. 2nd, 2009 07:56 am (UTC). Blue Juice and nothing else. Swear by it! Thu, Sep. 3rd, 2009 04:49 am (UTC). Put me down as a second on Blue Juice. Good stuff, and not very pricey. For the posts, I use Bach rotor valve oil (the thick stuff). That's largely because my old valves tend to click a lot, and the heavier oil reduces that. Wed, Sep. 2nd, 2009 08:19 am (UTC). Wed, Sep. 2nd, 2009 02:24 pm (UTC).

For this past week's challenge - Poet's Challenge
http://poets-challenge.livejournal.com/141302.html
For this past week's challenge - Poets Challenge. 19 September 2010 @ 04:41 pm. For this past week's challenge. High on the shelf,. The old stories are. The dust gathers on the pages,. As it does on anything worth keeping. Instead of ancient bones;. The covers are worn,. The leather and titles. Rubbed into the palms of generations. On how frequently something is needed,. But on how long. Gentle, careful fingers. Bring them down and turn brittle pages,. Footsteps trodding in the paths of our fathers.

Poet's Challenge
http://poets-challenge.livejournal.com/tag/poet%20to%20poet
17 October 2010 @ 07:50 pm. A poem by a published poet will be selected. The challenge will be to write a response to it. It can be a parody or an answer or an agreement or disagreement. You may mimic the form of the original or use whatever form (or lack of form) you wish. Cold in the earth and the deep snow piled above thee,. Far, far removed, cold in the dreary grave! Have I forgot, my only Love, to love thee,. Sever’d at last by Time’s all-severing wave? Now, when alone, do my thoughts no longer hover.
