Spring Cleaning - House and Mind. What is it about the sun making a reappearance that makes us all want to clean and de-clutter? I LOVE a declutter! My husband on the other hand is a bit of a hoarder but he will argue that he cleans better than me! Throwing things away however, I could do all day, but maybe it's the buying of new stuff I also enjoy? Who knows what trouble I would be in! Despite Sophie still on having 2 teeth, she eats 'normal' food really well. Up until now, she's had Ella's Kitchen ...

A Family Chatter: September 2014

New York and Florida. Our first family holiday as a 4! It has been sometime now since I lasted posted. Life has taken over recently since Sophie being born at the beginning of April, up until our holiday which we returned from last Thursday. In New York, we stayed in a hotel in Midtown, so it was quite central to everything. What we didn't realise was how big Manhattan was! We didn't get to do everything. I think mine and Paul's favourite thing to see and experience was the 9/11 Memorial and new One Worl...

The Best Things In Life Are Free. It's easy to spend so much time and money organising activities to keep the little ones entertained. We love our days out - visiting parks, farms, Zoo's, going out for lunch - but it all adds up! Even organising home-based activities such as crafting and baking often involves having to buy supplies. We have a little park on our estate, which, despite winding me up as it doesn't even have a slide, both Harry and Sophie love! We made it to the park, but ended up on the gra...

A Family Chatter: Our family camping holiday to Lobb Fields, North Devon
http://www.afamilychatter.co.uk/2015/07/family-camping-holiday-lobb-fields-devon.html
Our family camping holiday to Lobb Fields, North Devon. We've recently returned from our second family camping holiday where we experienced the biggest mish mash of weather I've ever experienced in a 7 day period. Despite the changeable conditions, we had a fabulous time and loved every minute. In Braunton, North Devon. It was a fairly small site with all the necessaries we required - toilets, hot showers, play area and wifi! One of Harry's highlights was the day we spent at The Milky Way Adventure Park.

A Family Chatter: December 2014

Today is the day before our Wedding and I am shaking with excitement! I've successfully made it to 9 stone 11lbs, which is 2lbs short of where I aimed to be, but I feel happy and for it to have dropped off with not too much effort has been great! Life has been so hectic recently with the Wedding preparations, work and the kids, that I haven't been able to write about my detailed eating plans and workouts. My dress fits perfectly and although it has had to be taken in slightly, it was only off the bust :(.

A Family Chatter: My Captured Moment - 23rd July 2015
http://www.afamilychatter.co.uk/2015/07/my-captured-moment-23rd-july-2015.html
My Captured Moment - 23rd July 2015. My Captured Moment' is a creation of Heledd at Running in Lavender. It's all about remembering special moments, both past and present that may have been forgotten without a photo. This may be a fairly poor quality photo of a photo, but it makes me one very proud Mummy! I've spoke before about how I'm just not ready. For Harry to start school and he's now really starting to sense the change looming. My job is to just choose the better one! 26 July 2015 at 11:19. Such a...

35in35 - 2 stone lost! I am ecstatic with my weight loss so far following giving birth to Sophie on the 3rd April, earlier this year. If I'm totally honest, I'm not sure how I've done it, but breastfeeding Sophie has been a major help I think! I can't really be specific in what my diet has consisted of, nor what exercise I have been doing. I have had 'good' days and 'bad' days, but I've generally kept my diet balanced (in other words, I've had the odd treat and glass or two of wine here and there! I had ...
