Kailee is 6 years old, the same age as my son, and she has a rare form of cancer called Rhabdomyosarcoma which in her case cannot be treated with surgery because of its location in her head and neck. Wednesday, October 22, 2008. Is over. Ya and now the rehab beginnings. It took almost 12 hrs the first time for the surgery. Then after the surgery. I went to the ICU because I was swollen and they were concerned about my throat. Swelling up. I got out of surgery. At 10 pm or so and i woke up 5 am with the tube down my throat. Thursday, August 28, 2008. Kept the blog up to date. The surgery. I was lost after the point of being smaller. I started the online classes o yippee. Just going to leave it at that.
