DesignStylePop!: Fave celebrity home tour: Jayma Mays
http://designstylepop.blogspot.com/2013/06/fave-celebrity-home-tour-jayma-mays.html
Monday, June 3, 2013. Fave celebrity home tour: Jayma Mays. I admit I have never watched one episode of Glee. But I am a regular reader of Dwell. Magazine. Their latest furniture issue featured the home of Glee. Actress, Jayma Mays. The home had a colorful retro feel to it, which isn't exactly my style, but there was one image that caught my eye:. The mural on her exterior block wall is awesome in it's scope of size and the fact I love the quote. Anyhoo, check out the latest Dwell. My First Little Place.

DesignStylePop!: Flashback Friday: Dad
http://designstylepop.blogspot.com/2013/06/flashback-friday-dad.html
Friday, June 14, 2013. So here's the thing: my dad at 75 years old has questionable fashion sense. His clothes are a little too loud, too much bling, and for some inexplicable reason he likes to brag that he got a piece of clothing for $5 at the local Ross. He's the Macklemore of geriatrics - only he doesn't wear granddad clothes, but young man clothes). Keep shopping at Ross old man and bling it to the cows come home. Happy early Father's Day. I love. DesignStylePop!: Flashback Friday: Atari
http://designstylepop.blogspot.com/2013/06/flashback-friday-atari.html
Friday, June 7, 2013. If you don't, then get the hell outta here you little punk! I want only us old-timers who remember Atari. To reminisce. Who needed Candy Crush. When you can hit a slowly moving pixel square back and forth for hours. Graphics, smaphics.two small vertical lines, a pixelated dotted line and a tiny white square was technology at it's finest. Our pre-mobile devices brains could only handle so much back then. And my personal favorite - Pitfall. My siblings and I figured that game out so f...

DesignStylePop!: Flashback Friday: catchphrases
http://designstylepop.blogspot.com/2013/06/flashback-friday-catchphrases.html
Friday, June 21, 2013. What were my favorite catchphrases or words in the 1980s? They were as follows:. Grody to the Max. I will now use them in one long 1980s rambling stream of consciousness:. So we like went to the arcade at my dad's bowling alley and played this rad. Afterwards we went to eat pizza and we saw this kid eating his booger right in front of us and it was like totally like grody to the max. We so like decided to leave and go to the movies and watched this movie called Sixteen Candles.

Saturday, 31 December 2011. My wish is to travel in 2012, what's yours? Rocky Village, Vernazza, Italy. Monday, 26 December 2011. I have featured Mary Katrantzou's designs before and I just came across images of her SS12 collection which make my heart beat just that little bit faster. Her use of colour and hyper-realistic prints is striking - flower power is going to be a huge trend - get on board! Saturday, 24 December 2011. Image www.condenaststore.com. The Pash Report: February 2012
http://thepashreport.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 29 February 2012. P is for peplum. Originates from the Greek word for 'tunic' and. S emerging as a huge trend for 2012/13. Usually attached to a jacket, blouse or dress – it brings the waist into focus – and this silhouette flatters every body shape. The peplum usually is ruffled but there are more minimalist options and you can utilise a belt to create a "peplum" effect. All images via Style.com. Monday, 27 February 2012.
