The story of my final journey as a gestational surrogate. Tuesday, November 6, 2012. Is now in surgery to have a device hooked up that will oxygenate her blood outside of the body called ecmo. We are now taking extreme measures and are hopeful that this device will buy us some more time for the antibiotics to help. Thank you for all of the thoughts and prayers. We are counting on the amazing doctors at Baylor to keep her alive and get her back home to her beautiful baby boys. November 16, 2012 at 11:22 AM.

The story of my final journey as a gestational surrogate. Monday, August 6, 2012. Happy 1st Birthday Liam and Ryan! I can't believe it, how has it been a year since these miracles made their entrance into the world! Liam has gone from 1lb 15oz and 13.39" long to 22lbs and 31" tall and Ryan from 1lb 13oz 13" long to 22lbs and 30 1/4" tall. The story of my final journey as a gestational surrogate. Sunday, August 21, 2011. 2wks and a day :). Both boys are up to 18 ml feeds every 3 hours. Great day for Mr. Liam. He especially enjoyed pooping and peeing all over mom during a diaper change :) Up to 2lb 1.8oz. Thursday, August 18, 2011. 12 days old/2wk post op appt. Now I can start focusing on the baby-baking retirement makeover : ). I took my oldest daughter with me so that she could see the boys for the 1st time. Since Ryan is in isolation...

It's been 2 months since I last posted : Ryan went home about a week after Liam did, just in time for his Mommy's birthday! He was there almost a week and he caught a regular cold but the poor little guy ended up back in ICU for a week from it. He's been home since & is now completely wireless like his brother!
