Saturday, June 27, 2009. So, two days ago Houston hit a record high of something in the neighborhood of 104 degrees. Luckily for me, I was in San Francisco! It was pretty chilly; I had to wear a heavy jacket. A scarf. I spent two days in San Francisco (with my parents, who have been here since Monday) shopping, eating, and seeing. First of all, I’ve lost 20 lbs in the 7 weeks i’ve been taking better care of myself! That’s such a huge deal for me! And it puts me almost halfway to my goal weight! Four years ago today. August 13, 2011 at 7:22 pm ( Uncategorized. I MISSED my family. I wanted to be around people who understood how i felt, the hurt and anger in dealing with my dad dying. (years later I realize, we all mourn differently, and none of them has to deal with the fact that he died literaly the day before my birthday) . I remember that phone call with my sister so vividly.
