Home prices in Texas surged to all-time highs in the second quarter of 2015, as the Lone Star state's housing market continues to be one of the strongest in the country. The median price for Texas homes is up 8.1 percent year-over-year at $200,000, while average prices have risen 9 percent year-over-year to $258,786.
