Tuesday, August 12, 2008. After a hard week at work we decided to take our frustration out on the mountain by conquering it. We headed up to Squamish (a beautiful 1 hour drive from Van) and got ourselves a guide (who provided equipment, instruction and a dog for Frank! After some initial heebie jeebies, we finally felt that we were on top of things and conquer the mountain we did! Cut fingers, bruised butts but egos in tact we plan to do it all again! Thanks to Trudy for the photos!

Sunday, December 7, 2008. First off. Art Institute of Chicago - with famous offerings such as Hopper's Nighthawks, Wood's American Gothic (you know. from the start of Desperate Housewives! And a fabulous collection of impressionist works with yet again Renoir coming out on top. Day was finished off by going to the top of Sears Tower and eating dinner courtesy of some company (thanks Toshiba/Siemanns/GE or whoever it was that sponspored that meal! Monday, September 15, 2008. And so you win some and you lose some. that is the take home message from this week at work. But not to dwell - hospital politics is hospital politics and that is all I shall say about that. Last week we got back from our fabulous Roadtrip to the Okanagan and Alberta. Sunday, April 19, 2009. Easter in San Fran Cis Co. And so we come to our most recent trip to San Francisco. Easter long weekend - not on call. Vancouver - raining. San Fran - clear blue skies, lovely weather, tan/sunburn. 'Twas a bitter sweet holiday, as it was the last trip with our newly acquired, co-Canadian hating friend Heather. She was leaving Canada to start her long holiday exploring USA and South America. I have been VERY VERY LAZY. Christmas came and went. New Year spent on call (What fun.).
