With a growing demand for improved health literacy in the United States and a need to expose students to core concepts in public health for their well-being and that of their communities, this curriculum contains an Introduction to Public Health. And 3 broad public health topics: a) Epidemiology. And c) Energy Balance. Each of the 3 subject areas includes between 7-9 lesson plans. The curriculum can be customized and used in whole or in part.

8211; Main Menu –. The NH PHTC offers workshops, conferences and other educational events that address the needs and interests of public health workers throughout New Hampshire. Topics have included oral health, obesity, chronic disease management, informatics, emergency preparedness, cultural competency, and more.
