http://www.redecho.org/2015/07/21/chrysler-vehicles-vulnerable-to-remote-exploit
July 21, 2015. Chrysler vehicles vulnerable to remote exploit. I’ve been joking for years that I refuse to drive a car that has a computer in it, because I’m a software engineer and am therefore unable to trust any system other software engineers have ever touched. Like hackers or federal agents:. Motorcycles are even more trustworthy; most of them don’t contain so much as a single microcontroller. Comments Off on Chrysler vehicles vulnerable to remote exploit. July 9, 2015. Documenting the kernel API, which is the only part that actually exists. I have at various times written all of the individual components necessary for an operating system, though if one were to imagine them all glommed together it would be form one unholy mongrel with no particular reason to exist. The Trindle concept is rather an attempt to answer the same sorts of questions I was exploring with the Radian. The capability system works by attaching a list of inodes to each process. A p...

Frock around the Clock: October 2010
http://frockaroundtheclock.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, 31 October 2010. I bloody love fancy dress. I went round to one of my friend's houses where everyone had decided not to go out at all and stay in and watch the X Factor and also not dress up. But I turned up as Cruella D'evil. One of his housemates opened the door and didn't even recognise me! Apologies for the miserable looking face - too much expression would have cracked the face paint! My skin is going to be RUINED on on Monday. Frock Around the Clock. Friday, 29 October 2010. Saturday, 25 December 2010. Tis The Season to be Jolly. Anyway hope everyone has had a wonderful Christmas! I know I was complaining about the snow before and have had to abandon my car twice this week, but it does make an ordinary ice bucket look very festive. Frock Around the Clock. Monday, 20 December 2010. Unless it's mild and overcast, we can't cope. Normal service will resume in the spring. Anyway on a less miserable note despite it's inconvenience I do love the snow. and I also love this delig...

Friday, 23 July 2010. Sun, Sun, Sun. My family and I managed to escape the beautiful British summer (which is particularly grey and miserable up north) and fled for Mallorca to remind ourselves what sunshine looks like. Me and the fam. awkward pose necessary to hide the mess the mosquitos made of my left leg:. Good old maxi to cover up nasty mosquito bites, but sadly showcases the strap marks. Waterside hotel restaurant. I don't care if it's not cool to wear sunglasses on your head. Frock Around the Clock.
